.…Chairman Issues Rallying Cry To New Signings

Enyimba FC Chairman, Ambassador Nwankwo Kanu, has urged the club’s new recruits to rise to the challenge and restore the team’s status as kings of Nigerian football.

In a meeting with the new signings, Kanu emphasized the importance of professionalism and winning mentality.

Kanu declared that the team narrowly missed out on success last season, but this is a fresh chance to deliver happiness to fans and reclaim their rightful place in Nigeria and Africa.

He emphasized that the team will use the upcoming Eko International Preseason Cup as a litmus test for their league ambitions and a dress rehearsal for continental resurgence.

The Eko International Preseason Cup, scheduled to kick off on July 6, 2025, will feature top clubs from West and Southern Africa, including 3SC, Remo Stars, Ikorodu City, Accra Hearts of Oak, SuperSport United, and Kalon Stars FC.

This tough competition will provide an ideal environment for Enyimba to test their mettle, fine-tune tactics, and integrate new signings.

With history on their side and pressure mounting, Enyimba FC’s mission is clear: win the NPFL, dominate Africa again, and restore the blue pride of Aba.

Kanu’s passionate charge sets the tone for a season of no excuses, and the team will charge into the new season with intent, not just hope.
