The Nigeria women’s beach volleyball team has secured a spot in the 2025 World Championship in Adelaide, Australia.

This followed a remarkable performance at the CAVB Continental Championship in Martil, Morocco.

The duo of Esther Mbah and Pamela Bawa clinched third place, defeating Egypt 2-1 (21-14, 20-22, 15-9).

Head coach Kayode Ajilore praised the players for their dedication and hard work, attributing their success to the team’s collective efforts.

He expressed gratitude to Engineer Musa Nimrod, President of the CAVB Beach Volleyball Commission, for providing a platform for the players to excel.

Ajilore also acknowledged the support of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation board members and Samuel Onikeku, Sports Secretary of the Nigeria Customs Service, who provided financial and mental encouragement throughout the championship.
