The Anambra Sports Solution Initiative’s (ANSSI) grassroots development program has produced finalists for the upcoming state championships. Exciting semi-final matches were played at Nnewi High School, Nnewi, in the Anambra South Zonal round.

In the U14 Male category, Boys Secondary School Oraifite and Harvester FC advanced to the final after winning their respective matches 1-0 and 3-0. In the U18 Male category, Community Secondary School Orsumoghu and CSS Oraifite secured their spots in the final with 1-0 and 4-2 wins.

The U18 Female final was contested between Santa Maria and Abot Ihiala, with Santa Maria emerging victorious 2-1.

The U14 Male and U18 Male finals will take place on June 17th, with the winners representing Anambra South Zone at the Anambra State Finals. Meanwhile, St Patrick Secondary School Ihiala, Harvester School Nnewi, and Union Secondary School Amachi have already secured representation in the State Volleyball Finals.

The ANSSI school sports program continues to discover and nurture young talent across Anambra State, with the Anambra South football finals set to determine which teams will compete for state glory.
