The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has successfully concluded the FIFA Member Associations’ Technical and Physical Instructors Course at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

The course, which featured 40 elite instructors, was supported by FIFA delegates Boubaker Hanachi and Ali Mohamed Ahmed.

NFF Referees Committee Chairperson, Faith Irabor, praised NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau for his support.

“The NFF President has been gracious to us. He has lived up to his words as our referees performed creditably in the just-concluded NPFL season.”

The second segment of the programme, the Young Talents Programme, kicks off on Sunday with 40 participants.

This initiative aims to improve the capacity of technical and physical instructors in Nigeria and recruit referees from an early age.

NFF President Gusau’s efforts to develop Nigerian football have been evident in the Federation’s support for refereeing development, with the Young Talents Programme being a key part of this initiative.
