Ayisat Yusuf, a former Super Falcons defender, has been named Head Coach of GirlPower United Afghans for the prestigious United Summer Tournament in Zurich.
With experience playing for top Nigerian teams like Nasarawa Amazons, Delta Queens, and Rivers Angels, as well as Finland’s NiceFutis, Yusuf is well-equipped to lead the team.
Yusuf expressed her excitement on social media, saying, “I have been appointed as Head Coach of GirlPower United Afghans competing in the prestigious United Summer Camp Tournament in Zurich.”
GirlPower United aims to empower refugee women and girls through mentoring, education, and sports, promoting their integration into new communities.
