In a thrilling Unity Cup final, Nigeria edged out Jamaica 5-4 on penalties after the match ended 2-2 in regulation time.

The game saw dramatic twists, with Jamaica twice coming from behind to level the scores.

Moses Simon gave Nigeria the lead in the 9th minute, but Jamaica responded swiftly with Kaheim Dixon equalizing three minutes later.

The first half ended 1-1. Samuel Chukwueze restored Nigeria’s lead in the 53rd minute, only for Jamaica to level again through Jonathan Russell in the 63rd minute.

With the scores locked at 2-2, the match went to penalties, where Nigeria emerged victorious, retaining the trophy they last won 21 years ago.
