All is set for the official draws of the 2025 FESTDRINE/ Anambra All Stars Football Tournament.
The draws which will take place at the Anambra State Football Association Secreteriat, Road 1 Udoka Housing Estate Awka will hold on Friday, 23rd May, 2025.
The tournament, introduced last year with funfair by the state FA Chairman, Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi has over twenty five teams registered to do battle
Registered teams include; Liberty All Stars Football Club, Atani, Peace FC ,Awka, Okpoko All Stars, Unity All Stars Iyiowa,Ogbaru, Estate All Stars, Onitsha, Evergreen All-Stars Awka, Fegge All Stars, Onitsha, Metu Memorial Old Boys, Nkutaku All Stars, Great Inland Fc Fegge Onitsha, Obosi All Stars FC, Obosi, Cubana All Stars FC, Oba and Anambra State All Stars Sports Club, Onitsha.
Others are; PJP All Stars, Okpuno, Great United Stars Fc, Awka, Professionals Football Club, Awka, Puma All Stars, Army Barracks Onitsha, Prime FC , Awka, Awka Capital Elite, Awka, Awka All Stars FC, Awka, Nnewi All Stars FC, Nnewi, Uncle Ralph FC All Stars Mgbakwu, Villa All Stars, Awka, Nimo All Stars Football Club,Nimo, Comprehensive Sec Sch All Stars, Onitsha and Nkpor Veterans Recreation Club, Nkpor.
The last edition was won by Metu Memorial Old boys Onitsha. They defeated liberty All Stars Atani.
Winners of the tournament will go home with one point five million Naira while the first and second runners up will get seven hundred thousand Naira and five hundred thousand Naira respectively alongside other consolation prizes.
