NAUAA President, Umeh Commends President Tinubu On Support Towards Education Sector

The Global President of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Alumni Association (NAUAA), Comrade Dr. Ikechukwu Umeh has eulogized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his support towards the development of the Education sector with his reforms.

The NAUAA Global President made the remarks on Thursday, 8th May, 2025 during the commissioning of Emeka Anyaoku Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy by the visitor to the institution, H.E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Dr. Umeh stated that the visit of President Tinubu to the institution for the commissioning of the project which is part of his one-day visit to the state is a true demonstration of the passion and quest in ensuring the growth and development of the sector.

The scholar also described Chief Emeka Anyaoku’s ideas in international diplomacy as key to the advent of the institute which will go a long way in churning out academic products who will be knowledgeable in international affairs and public administration.

Dr. Umeh highlighted some of Mr. President’s recent achievements in the educational sector such as the institution of NELFund, the release of fifty billion naira for the payment of Earned Academic Allowances and release of CNG buses to Nigerian students. He thanked President Tinubu for his immense contributions describing the gesture as reassuring in moving the sector to the next level.
