Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, the Wife of the Governor of Osun State, has been honored with the prestigious Girl-Child Sports Empowerment Icon Award at the Nigeria Sports Achievers Awards 2025.

This distinguished accolade celebrates her relentless advocacy for gender inclusivity in athletics, her unwavering support for grassroots sports development, and her instrumental role in nurturing young female athletes across Osun State and beyond.

Erelu Ngozi Adeleke has emerged as a transformative force in the advancement of girl-child sports, spearheading initiatives that provide young female athletes with essential resources, mentorship, and platforms to thrive.
