The Global President of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Alumni Association (NAUAA), Dr. Ikechukwu Umeh has inducted the newest graduands of the 2023/24 academic session into the University’s Alumni Association.

The induction of the 8157 graduates into NAUAA was performed during the occasion of the award of first degree honours as part of activities of the ongoing 19th Convocation Ceremonies held on Thursday, 27th March, 2025 at the Convocation arena.

Dr. Umeh in his remarks congratulated the fresh graduates for successfully navigating the academic challenges while embracing the rigour of learning and emerging victorious as scholars worthy of their degrees. The Global President of NAUAA described the convocation as not just a celebration of academic success but also a transition into a new chapter of life where they are expected to carry the legacy of the great institution to the world.

Dr. Umeh who described NAUAA as a platform to connect, grow and contribute to the continued progress of the institution maintained that the association is committed to fostering lifelong engagement between the University and its graduates. The scholar also highlighted that the association is there to support their career growth, professional development and networking opportunities.
