The Chairman of Solution Football Club of Anambra State, Chief Chukwuma Ezeamama has called on the playing personnel of Solution FC to improve on their individual and collective team performance in order to achieve the dream of playing in the playoffs and in furtherance securing a slot for the top tier, the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) by the end of the season.

Chief Ezeamama stated this during a special interactive session with players held on Sunday morning, 16th February, 2025, at the player’s camp near Government House Awka in the aftermath of Saturday’s victory against God’swill Akpabio FC.

Ezeamama restated that the goal of the management, the Anambra State Government who are the owners of the professional football club and indeed Ndi Anambra ardent football followers is to have a club in the state playing at the biggest level of Nigerian Club football, the NPFL. The football administrator informed that for this goal to be achieved the players are the main actors and largely responsible in ensuring that the dream is achieved.

The Solution FC Chairman said although the team got the better of their opponent by winning against God’swill Akpabio FC 1-0 on Saturday, he was not impressed with the team’s performance and admonished the playing personnel to improve on their display.

Ezeamama said: “Let me first commend you for getting the maximum points against God’swill Akpabio FC yesterday but however, I must say that am not too impressed by your display yesterday as we did not perform like we did in our previous home matches.

“Remember, that the state government under Gov. Soludo has done noble by giving us a state football club and we have to repay that faith by ensuring that we must deliver by playing well, giving our best and winning our games so that we can have a chance of picking up a playoff spot by the end of the season and go further to secure a place in the Premier League. So I urge you all to improve on your individual and collective performance to ensure that this dream becomes a reality,” Ezeamama said.

Responding, the team captain, Joseph Igwe thanked Chief Ezeamama for his fatherly advise as well as his financial and moral support for the team. He stated that the players are aware of the huge expectations while promising that they will work as a unit towards the actualization of this goal. Others who spoke during the interactive session cum meeting were Chizoba Amaefule and Uche Mba.

Solution FC are currently second on the Conference B log of the 2024/25 NNL season having amassed a total of 17 points from 9 matches played thus far this season.
