The recent outburst of members of Al Masry of Egypt calling Enyimba unprofessional side as they get ready for their CAF Cup encounter tomorrow night has been described as a poorly managed mind game.

Responding to the news making the rounds from the Egyptian side’s camp, the Sporting Director, Enyimba FC, Ifeanyi Ekwueme said that they noisemakers and uncooperative.

“They’re noisemakers, they were hiding their trip from us. They booked their local tickets without involving us the management but sent us invoice for refunds. Imagine their tricks. CAF officials are on ground and will write their own report and let’s see how it will pan out”,

“We were in Egypt, what treatment did we get? We paid for our training pitch before we could train. We had access to the stadium for just an hour but they want to use the Uyo pitch for two days before match day which is against CAF rules”,

“We eventually allowed them to have access to the pitch for an hour but they stubbornly went against the agreement and trained for two hours. We have received every visiting team with the best of hospitality in Uyo so far”,

“When we travelled to Egypt, it was our embassy that helped us in organising things. We won’t be distracted by their antics but be very focused on the match by doing the talking on the pitch by beating them and getting the important 3 points by God’s grace “, he said
