The administration of governor Charles Soludo has been described as a unique one that cannot be compared to other administrations in Anambra state.
The state commissioner for Housing, Hon. Paul Onyeka stated this during a meeting with journalists in his office recently.
He said that Prof Soludo is unique and intentional with his plans for the well being of Ndi Anambra through structured and dedicated governance delivery.
“Soludo Administration is not common like those in the past. This administration is unique and international over the wellbeing of Ndi – Anambra with important budgets that will serve and engineer a lot if values for the people “,
“The governor Soludo administration is not like those in the past. His manifesto is people oriented and the vision well cut out to serve the desired needs of the people”, he said
According to the commissioner, the Vision 2027 document by the Chairman of the committee as well as other documents that has to do with transition report has been put in place.
” The documents are 3 very sacred to us because , we can not do without them. It projects our attention to basic things we need and those important things are what will help turn anambra state into what anybody can call civilized developed state”.
Hon Onyeka disclosed that every sector is receiving quantum leap of development ranging from education, Health to Roads etc.
“In road, over 400- 80- 500 kilometres of road has been awarded , not less than 300 kilometres are completed with modern infrastructure that will last for 20 years before talking about maintaince”.
He stated that the state for 33 years getting to 34 governors came with their style of leadership in makeshifts which they called government house but that soludo administration took a bold step in building a Government House.
“The governor is building a Government House. The best that will be in Africa, with security post, clinics, fire fighting, banquet Hall, Amfitheatre, with not less than 800 seaters etc”.
While informing of the governor’s tremendous transformation of the state health sector, Hon Onyeka said that most of the health centres have been restructured, upgraded and equipped with facilities.
“The governor started with three General Hospitals, one at enugwu- ukwu that will serve central senatorial zone, another at Ekwulobia that will serve the south senatorial zone and Umueri General Hospital that will serve north senatorial zone”, he explained.
