Sofascore, a global leading live score and statistics app has signed a technical partnership agreement for a period of three years to become the exclusive live score app of the Asaba Super Cup and Delta Marines Football Club.

The partnership deal between Sofascore, Asaba Super Cup and Delta Marines FC is aimed at providing live updates and statistics of football players and teams that participate in the Asaba Super Cup starting from the 2025 edition.

The technical collaboration marks a major turning point for the premium competition in Delta State, Nigeria, which will provide visibility for players and participating football clubs to attract the attention of football scouts and intermediaries all over the world.

With this technical collaboration, the Asaba Super Cup will continue to provide a valuable platform for football clubs to make their players more marketable through globally verifiable, recognisable and credible performance statistics, while also making the cup competition popular beyond the shores of Nigeria and accessible by Sofascore’s global audience of over 25million subscribers worldwide.

The 2025 edition of the Asaba Super Cup will kickoff from March 1st 2025. In the last edition in 2024, Ughelli Rovers FC defeated Delta Marines FC by a lone goal courtesy of Great Udori’s solitary strike in the grand finale of the competition.

Sofascore joins a growing number of corporate organisations such as Bet9ja, Air Peace and Parallex Bank who have identified with the Asaba Super Cup, one of the premium football competitions for discovery of new football talents in Nigeria.
