The battle of who becomes the 7th Substantive Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka is over with the official handover of the administration of the university to the new Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bernard Ifeanyi Odoh.
Prof. Odoh was appointed Vice-Chancellor of UNIZIK by the University Governing Council on Tuesday 29th October, 2024.
Following the appointment, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Carol Arinze-Umobi has officially handed over the administration of the University to the new VC, Prof. Bernard Ifeanyi Odoh.
The handover ceremony was completed at about 1.30pm today, the 30th day of October, 2024.
Until his new appointment, Prof. Bernard Ifeanyi Odoh is a Professor of Applied Geolophysics, Federal University, Gusau since October, 2015.
