Enugu First Lady’s Cup: Organizers Announce Nov 7 Kick Off Date

Organizers of the 1st  Enugu State First Lady’s Cup have announced November 7, 2024 as the.kick of date for the tournament designed for female football teams across the local government areas of the state.

The competition will run through November 15, when the final is billed to hold.

The championship is being organised by the Topflight Sports International in conjunction with the Enugu State Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Children, Women Affairs and Social Development as well as Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters and Rural Development.

The opening ceremony is expected to take place inside the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, with the wife of the state governor, Her Excellency, Mrs Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah in attendance.

Enugu North and their Isi-Uzo Local Government teams will get the competition underway at 4.pm on the opening day, 7 November, 2024.

Enugu East and Enugu South will take their turn on November 8 at 10.am at the Ngwo Park.

The competition is being organised on knock out basis.
