Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland and the C.E.O of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Engineer Jubril Dotun Sanusi has promised instant cash rewards to Oyo State athletes who perform brillianly well with a podium finish
The man with the Midas touch for Sports development in Oyo state stated this while addressing newsmen in Ibadan, the state capital. He disclosed that his trust aly and immediate Chairman ,Oyo State Sports Council , Honourable Olubenga Arole has entrusted to represent him and deliver the financial rewards to the Atletes in Delta State.
In his message of support to the young athletes who are representing the pace Setters state, said: as the Pillar of Sports in Southwest Zone and Sports Philanthropist, I have sent Honourable Gbenga Adewusi Arole to our athletes in the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba to encourage the state atheltes by motivating them with a sum of #5,000 for Gold Medalists, #3000 for Silver and #2,000 will go to Bronze Medalists.”
“This kind of gesture is to motivate them to have a self believe that they can do it and make Oyo state proud.
As at Monday, 16th September, 2024, Oyo State currently occupying 4th position on the log with 7 Gold and 4 Silver medals.
