The Rotary Club of Aluu New Dawn domiciled in Rivers State have honoured Immediate Past Chairperson of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) NAU Chapter and President-General of Ifitedunu Community with Prestigious Professional Service Award.
The award was bestowed on Comrade Ufoaroh during the installation, investiture and induction of the club officers and new members of the branch held on Saturday, 7th September 2024 at the Exchange and Linkage Programmes Unit Hall, University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT).
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Ufoaroh thanked the Rotary Club for the award. The Union leader promised to support Rotary humanitarian activities geared towards helping the less privileged which has been part of his pursuit in life. The President-General of Ifitedunu Community located in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State promised to partner with Rotary club Aluu in the drive to make the society a better place for humanity.
Rotary Club of Aluu New Dawn is a member of the Rotary International District 9141 Nigeria and by extension, Rotary International. Rotary is an international humanitarian service organization that has existed for about 125 years in over 200 countries across the globe and doing good to humanity.
