ACC Begins Preparations For International Coaches Convention

As the sun rose over Casablanca, Morocco, the excitement was palpable. The African Coaches Connect (ACC) team, led by Founder and President, Coach Eldred Sunju-Abbey, Mr. Joseph Bature, ACC’s Head of Protocol and Business Integration for Northern Africa, and Coach Christopher O. Nwabuzo, ACC’s General Coordinator in Morocco began preparations for their 2nd International Coaches Convention, “ACC Convention Casablanca 25”.

An introductory and familiarization visit to the Embassy of Morocco, where Deputy Head Of Mission Marouan Abousif warmly received them. In the embassy’s elegant conference room, the ACC team shared their vision for the convention, aiming to improve African coaches and football professionals. Coach Eldred with his characteristic enthusiasm expressed gratitude to him and the Embassy for the meeting, even at such a short notice and highlighted the goal of growing prominent African coaches in the likes of: Tarik Sektioui, Walid Regragui, Aliou Cisse, Pitso Mosimane, Stephen Keshi, Hassan Shehata, Christian Chukwu, Bahaa El-Din, Yemi Tella, Desiree Ellis, Fanny Amu, Emerse Faé, and many other ebullient African Coaches and Prides.

Deputy Head Of Mission Marouan Abousif showed enthusiasm for learning more. The ACC team outlined their detailed plans, including a a star-studded speakers lineup, interactive workshops, courses, community service and interaction, exhibitions, historical tours, business opportunities, nutrition, medicine and science coverage, and networking sessions. We are so excited to bring our entire Worldwide members to Casablanca, a city steeped in football history and passion, truly epic and historical.

Deputy Head Of Mission Marouan Abousif listened intently, asking insightful questions and offering valuable suggestions.

“We are impressed by the scope and ambition of ACC and your convention,” Deputy Head Of Mission Abousif said. “The Embassy of Morocco is committed to supporting initiatives that promote football development and unity, and human capacity as well as improving the African continent. We will do everything possible to ensure the success of your event.”

The meeting concluded with mutual excitement and anticipation. The ACC team was pleased with the meeting’s positive outcome and will now bring their vision to life by meeting with government bodies and agencies, football stakeholders, and captains of allied industries to promote the convention and finalize logistical arrangements.
