…Tasks Team To Do Same In The League

Grand patron of Ex Rangers International FC of Enugu, Chief Benson Ezeomeogo Ejindu, has given a pat on the back to Rangers for starting their continental campaign on a winning note.

Ejindu while congratulating the team said the Flying Antelopes must also make it a winning start on the domestic scene as they face ElKanemi Warriors in the very first match of the NPFL season at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium (The Cathedral) on Sunday.

The United States of America based philanthropist cum ardent football lover said he is excited by the brilliant performance of the team since last season.

“I must give kudos to everybody in the team from the management led by Amobi to the technical crew and the players. I am really impressed with the performance of the team. I urge them to go all out again on Sunday as they begin their NPFL defense.”

Ejindu who has been supporting the team from his base said he is closely monitoring their performance, even as he said he would not relent in his efforts.

It would be noted that Rangers went through to the next stage of the CAf Champions League after defeating their opponents from Comoros in Uyo. The Flying Antelopes won the NPFL last season to the admiration of their teaming supporters.
