Current defending champions of the annual Ifeanyi Ekwueme TICO/ SELECT Preseason Football Tournament Abia Warriors have been presented with SELECT products ahead of this year’s edition.
The Sponsor of the elite warm up tournament, Ifeanyi Ekwueme on Monday unveiled the Chairman of the Umuahia based NPFL side, Chief John Obuh alongside club’s Technical Adviser, Coach Imama Amakakpabo.
The team is drawn in group A alongside NPFL Champions, Enugu Rangers, Apex Krane, Coal City FC and newly promoted NNL side, Khun Kalifat FC of Owerri.
The Umuahia side who are President Federation Cup runners up behind champions Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will hope to defend their title as Coach Imama hopes to consolidate on the teams cup run last season in his second stint with the side.
