Ibom Beach Soccer, FUTSAL Committee Seek Akwa Ibom FA Partnership

The executive of Akwa Ibom State Beach Soccer and Futsal Committee on Thursday paid a courtesy call on the Akwa Ibom State Football Association (AKSFA).

The courtesy call which also had in attendance members of Akwa Ibom State Football Association (AKSFA), took place at the FA office, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo.

Speaking, the Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Beach Soccer and Futsal Committee, Captain Victor Ndueso (Rtd.), said the courtesy call was for familiarization as well as congratulate the new FA executive in the State.

Captain Victor Ndueso noted that the meeting was to avail them the opportunity of outlining some of the challenges facing the game and also seek for partnership with the FA.

Also speaking, the Coordinator, Mr. Oto Ekanem notified the FA on some lines of actions towards developing the game. He intimated the FA of a beach soccer competition that will be coming up soon even as he urged the FA to collaborate to ensure the competition succeeds.

In his response Responding, the Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Football Association (AKSFA), Mr. Samuel Umoh pleaged to work in partnership with the Akwa Ibom State Beach Soccer and Futsal Committee, assuring that the game will develop beyond expectations.

While maintaining that Beach Soccer and Futsal games will be a known sports in the State, Samuel Umoh commended the committee for a job well done.

Umoh, promised to carry the committee along in all scheme of things as far as the game is concerned.

Members of Akwa Ibom State Beach and Futsal Committee who were present at the courtesy call were: King Akanimo, Secretary, John Ekpenyong, Welfare and Emmanuel Akpan, Head of Media, Coach Ekaete Ikpe, Technical Assistant and Nduenie Jonathan, Organizing Secretary.
