.….Set To Expose Others Still In Service

Anambra state civil service has been under the burden of certificates forgery which led to the sack of many workers.

The state government took a decisive step to deal with the hydra headed monster which had rocked the boat of integrity in the service by shoving them out.

However, in a surprising turn of events, the sacked workers have formed an association to fight back, threatening to expose their colleagues still in service with fake credentials.

The certificate screening exercise, initiated by the Governor Chukwuma Soludo Administration to sanitize the system, has led to the dismissal of numerous workers, including directors and those with Forged PhD certificates.

The association claims that the exercise was unfair and has vowed to take action.

According to a source within the association, who spoke on condition of anonymity, “We will not go down alone. If our pleas for pardon are ignored, we will reveal the names of colleagues who forged certificates, the institutions involved, and are still serving in top positions.”

This threat has sent shockwaves through the state’s civil/public service, with many officials nervously awaiting the outcome.

The association’s move has sparked concerns about the extent of certificate forgery in the state’s workforce and the potential consequences of their exposé.

The Anambra State government has yet to comment on the association’s claims and threats.

As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how the government will respond to the sacked workers’ demands and the potential fallout from their threatened exposé.
