Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka will soon have advertorials for the vacant position of a substantive Vice-chancellor for the institution.
This disclosure was made by the Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor on Media and Publicity, Dr. Emma Ojukwu during a press briefing on Tuesday, 22nd July 2024 at the council chambers.
Dr. Ojukwu stated that the council having performed it first obligation of appointing an acting Vice-Chancellor will soon issue directives for application for position of a substantive Vice-chancellor of the institition.
He informed that the Governing Council appointed Prof. Umobi based on the fact that she is ineligible to contest for the position of a Substantive Vice-Chancellor with advertorials to be made public in the coming days.
