Babatem 2024: Coach Chikelue Says Veterans Recreation Club Battle Ready

The coach of Veterans Recreation Club Nkpor, Chikelue Raphael has said that his boys are battle ready for the 2024 Anambra FA/Babatem All Stars Football Championship.

Coach Chikelue celebrating his team’s 1-0 slim victory over Awka Capital Elites FC in their first match at the Awka City Stadium over the weekend said their target is to win all their matches.

“We did well last year, just that we had a knock at the quarter final stage. But this year we will go beyond where we stopped last year”,

“We are battle ready with quality players. My name is ‘Egbe eji eje ogu’ and my players will do the club proud. So we are ready”,

“You saw the players do what they are known for. That will tell you how prepared we are. We are not leaving any stone unturned”, he said.

Veterans Recreation Club Nkpor will play their next game against Old Skuul All Stars FC, Awka on Saturday 3rd August at Eziowelle Stadium by 10am.
