Mercurial Enyimba player, Eze Happy Ekwutoziam (Pinto) has sent a hearty thank you message to the Enyimba family.

Speaking to Newspathfinder in Aba after his team’s last league game against Plateau United, Eze described the season as a fruitful one considering their Continental ticket.

He poured out his heart in appreciation to the Aba fans and supporters, management, colleagues and technical team for making the season a worthwhile journey.

“Fantastic season I have had. To the team entirely we try all we could individually and as a family as well to retain the title but it wasn’t meant to be. It was that way due to so many human errors but I don’t want to talk much about it for now”,

“I really want to say a very big thank you to the whole of Enyimba family the fans, coaches and management for their support it wasn’t an easy one but they all stood by us”,

“The season has ended and it’s time to have some rest and bounce back stronger for next season.thank you all”, he said.

Enyimba Football Club qualified for the continent following their third position on the league table behind Rangers and Remo Stars.

They had a turbulent season.
