Former Super Falcons Goalkeeper Judith Chime has rewarded Nigeria Women Professional League goalkeepers in the just ended league season.

Confluence Queens of Lokoja safe hand, Echefu Sylvia won the Goalkeeper of the season, and she was gifted with a cash prize of N150,000, a goalkeer hand glove and a branded jersey with her name boldly written at the back.

The Goalkeeper coach of the season was won by Coach Emmanuel also of Confluence Queens. He was gifted with a cash prize of N50,000.

All the six goalkeepers that participated in NWFL Super 6 were gifted with a cash prize of N15,000 each. It would be recalled that Judith who was called “Kamala” during her playing days, was awarding N10,000 every week for the Goalkeeper of the week in the NWFL.

Speaking on this, Judith said her motive is just to encourage the goalkeepers to always put in their best. She said this is her little ways of supporting the Board of the Nigeria Women Football League for their efforts in sustaining the legacy of the Nigeria Women Football League all these years.
