South East University Sports To Honour UNIZIK Vice Chancellor, Esimone.

The Vice Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Charles Esimone will today be honored by the South East University Sports.

Prof. Esimone will receive the honour as the Icon of Youth and Sports Development South East of Nigeria.

The award powered by UNIZIK Sports will be presented during the official launch of the new tartan tracks of Nnamdi Azikiwe University holding today (24th May, 2024) at the university main stadium by 3pm.

According to the Director of Sports, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Mr Chibueze Ogbonna, the university will use the launch to host invitational tournament for athletics, Judo and Taekwondo.

The chairman of the University Sports Committee, Dr Dereck Orji while welcoming the athletes and sports administrators from invited universities enjoined participants to compete according to the rules and take advantage of the event to showcase their talents
