Organizers Of Jos Athletics Competition Rate Gombe Athletic Academy High

Gombe AthIetics Academy has been rated as one of the best funded and fastest growing Youth Academies in Northern Nigeria.

Recall Gombe AthIetics Academy was founded by Hon. Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe in 2021 and took part at the just concluded grassroots AthIetics competition in Jos with about 23 athIetic contingent.

This accolade was loudly echoed at the end of competition by organisers of the Zonal Champs where AthIetes from Gombe Academy won several medals in Long jump, 100, 200m, 400m etc.

To this end, Gombe AthIetics Academy AthIetes hoisted their flag in Jos after Asaba National Youth Games for a superlative performance.

Among top young talents in Gombe team is multi-talented Blessings Ehi-Ikpa, Lamceh Danladi, Aishatu Suleiman, Dahiru Yusuf who were main contributors to the medals, while while others in the contingent had their moments in getting the much needed exposure at competition.

The quality of competitions in Jos, plateau State was highly commented by organisers and Sponsors as Head of Gombe State Athletics Academy contingent Simon Ayuba also commended AthIetes, officials and organisers of the competition for giving AthIetes the opportunity to compete
