Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA), in its resolve to pin down traffic offenders, especially those that drive against traffic (One Way), has introduced night shifts.

The introduction of the night shifts has drastically reduced the number of persons that drive against traffic, especially from Upper Iweka to Bridge Head, once it is 5pm.

According to an ARTMA Report made available to our reporter, officers must do proper videos to show land marks and road signs before any vehicle is impounded.

Reacting to a recent video that caught the agencies attention, the report stated: “Our adhoc officer properly executed his job, and his voice note served as a comic relief for everyone except the driver of the truck who now has to face the law for his reckless action.

“The adhoc officer needs to explain to the agency what his closing remark ‘igba mgba- power’ means,” the ARTMA Report stated.
