The administration of governor Chukwuma Soludo has been described as an era of unprecedented development within the last two years.
The Deputy Speaker of the Anambra state House of Assembly, Chief Chukwuma Okoye stated this while speaking on the two years of the Soludo led administration in the state.
According to the Law maker who represents Awka South Constituency Two, Professor Soludo has proven to be an astute economics by the way he is piloting the affairs of the state without borrowing one kobo so far despite the economic realities across the country. …
The Deputy Speaker observed that great achievement have also been recorded so far in the Health sector where all the health facilities in the various wards are receiving attention as well as massive employment of medical workers.
He commended the present government under the leadership of Soludo for the Giant strides recorded within two years in the agricultural sector where millionaires are being expected after the consistent distribution of palm fruits and Coconuts trees to the people especially those in the rural communities.
Chief Okoye noted that though the last APGA administration did it’s part towards the development of Awka the state capital , the Soludo led administration under two years have indeed changed the narrative with the show of sincerity in his quest to give the Capital Territory a facelift.
According to him, the enormous road constructions inside Awka and Okpuno axis where dualization work has reached conclusion up to Isuaniocha area.
“Nothing has happened to Awka North before now, but go there under this Soludo administration, they now have good road, school, health posts and development is fast entering the area courtesy of Chukwuma Soludo. Look at Nzam, the headquarters of Anambra West local government, you can not access it with your vehicle, but now within two years, Soludo is connecting the area and it is the same in Okpuno and other parts of the state.”
The Deputy Speaker of the state Assembly also extolled the achievements done by the two year government in the Education sector where five thousand teachers had been employed and another three thousand ready to get their letters to compliment the free education declared by the Solution government.
Chief Okoye while commending the President Bola Tinubu administration for steps being taken to address the numerous challenges confronting the nation, expressed the hope that with the appointment of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in the Economic team, Nigeria will in a short while get it right as he will bring in his wealth of experience as well as expertise in the economic world.
The Awka stakeholder therefore called on the people to keep praying for governor Soludo to succeed and also for the President who is trying to turn things around.
