Enyimba International Football Club have sent a message of sympathy to Kano Pillars Football Club over the death of their staff, Salisu Yaro.

In the message signed by the club chairman, Ambassador Nwankwo Kanu, the Aba based club said that the death of Mr Yaro has left an indelible mark on the sand of times of the Pearl of the North West.

The message read…..

Salisu Yaro has left an indelible mark on the sand of the Times of Kano football.

In the past four decades, it is safe to say that any football household and football stakeholder has in one way or the other encountered Salisu Yaro and has only positive things to say about the deceased

He was everything football; a football developer, motivator and philanthropist, Salisu made football his all and all

I commiserate with members of his immediate family, Kano Pillars FC, Kano FA, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and the entire people of Kano, over this great loss of a football icon.

May God grant him eternal rest as he lived a life worthy of Emulation.

The club prayed for the repose of the soul of the dearly departed and comfort for all those who mourn.

Kanu Nwankwo
Chairman
Enyimba FC
