Enyimba Int’l FC Gaffer, Coach Finidi George insists the team will bounce back to winning ways soon after the unfortunate loss to Remo Stars on Wednesday.

The former Super Eagles winger made the assurance while reacting on the league champions first home league loss at the Enyimba Int’l Stadium, Aba.

The people’s Elephant failed to capitalize on their good form when they were tamed by 4th place side on log, Remo Stars in a rescheduled NPFL match day 3 encounter after former Enyimba player, Samad Kadiri nodded home the only goal of the match at the 33rd minute.

Finidi who noted that his players were a bit sloppy in the first 25 minutes of play said they got better in the second half expressing optimism that the team will come back from the mistake adding that the players knows it and will rectify it subsequently.

“I think if you look at the game, throughout the 90minutes we were the team that tried to win the game.

“I can only fault my boys in the first 25 minutes we didn’t get more aggressive. I don’t know if it was because we didn’t get a proper warming up but I think in the second half we gave our all with everything it wasn’t possible, so we keep our heads up and think about the next match on Saturday.

“They didn’t play in the second half apart from the long balls they used, if we converted the chances we created , I don’t think we would be talking about the better team.

“We will definitely come back, I will say this just a mistake and I think the players know it.
Normally we enter the game more aggressive in the 20 -25 minutes, we didn’t enter the game with the right attitude, i can’t really say if it’s due to the warming up but subsequently we can’t have a match without proper warming up.

“On Daniel Ekpo, I think he came in and did very well, that’s what we expect of every player, we would keep encouraging him and see how he helps us.
