Organizers of the ongoing Senator Uba Sani Unity cup in Kaduna have released the fixtures for the quarter-final matches.
According to the fixtures released, the 1st quarter-final matches will see Chukun local government take on Zangon Kataf at the Ahmadu Bello stadium in the first match of the day, while the second quarter final will see Makafi local government take on Jama’a in the second match of the day in the same venue.
Winners in the two matches would qualify to meet both Giwa and Kudan in the semi-finals. Both teams qualified for the semi-final slots by securing the highest numbers of points in the group stage.
Meanwhile, the organizers are putting finishing touches to making the final a very memorable one indeed. The Chief organizer himself, Tijani Babangida noted that top Nigerian dignitaries have already indicated their interest to be their guest in the final.
You may want to recall that the Governor himself was the special guest of honour in the opening ceremony. And he was accompanied by members of the state of Assembly, and members of the state Executive Council.
