The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) team trounced the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) by one goal to book a place in the finals of the soccer tourney.

The Nigeria Customs Service scored against NAGAFF after a keenly contested match following Superintendent Sani Buhari brilliant effort which ensured a place for NCS in the finals today at Stables sports center in Surulere

In a press release signed by Superintendent of Customs Akinwale Fatoki, the semi-final match was initially scheduled for kick off at 3 pm but was delayed due to a protest by the NCS Team.

They alleged that the NAGAFF Team employed mercenaries, the game however proceeded after the Match Commissioner advised the Team Manager of NCS to seek official redress through the Technical Committee of the Maritime Cup.

The NCS Team, known for its resilience, is set to face the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) in the final match on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Stables Sports Complex in Surulere
