Enyimba Int’l FC Goaltender and captain, Olorunleke Ojo has been called up alongside other 22 others for the Super Eagles AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome & Principe.
Ojo who was in goal for the NPFL Champions during the CAF Champions League first round qualifiers which they lost did enough to retain the confidence of the Eagles technical crew for the encounter this weekend September 10, 2023.
According to a release from the football Glass House, Abuja, the last AFCON qualifier which holds at the Godswill Akpabio Int’l Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has the entire 23 team list from across Europe but the NPFL Champions keeper, Ojo who is the only home based player invited. The players are expected to start arriving to camp on Wednesday September 6, 2022.
