TICO/SELECT: Abia Warriors, Enyimba, 2 Others Battle For Finals Slot

After four days of hostilities at the ongoing 5th edition of the Ifeanyi Ekwueme TICO/SELECT Pre-Season Tournament, Four teams have qualified for the knock out stages of the competition.

Abia Warriors FC, FC One Rocket, Enyimba Int’l FC and Ona-PAL FC made it to the Semi finals of the tournament from their respective group stages.

Abia Warriors and their sister club, Enyimba FC showed their superiority by topping their groups while NNL sides, FC One Rocket and FC Ona-PAL placed second behind the two Abia state teams in group A and B respectively.

In the first semifinal today, Abia Warriors will lock horns with FC Ona-PAL by 2pm while the second semifinal encounter will take place immediately after between Enyimba and FC One Rocket at the Uyo Township Stadium.

Pre-Season Tournament will come to a close tomorrow Sunday September 3, 2023 at the same venue with fun fare as the 3rd place match holds by 2pm while the final follows immediately after.
