The Beach Soccer Association board of Anambra state has been inaugurated.
The board is led by Prof Victor Madubuko with RT. Hon. Chukwudi Orizu as the the vice Chairman.
Other members of the board are, Hon Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo as the secretary general, Kingsley Nwagba who doubles as Coach /Techincal director, Okwudili A Emmanuel as Media Officer , Prisca Ogugua as Welfare Officer and Chukwuka Fidelis as Asistant coach.
Dr. Sunday Okai, a seasoned instructor who administered oat of office for the new board charged charged them to put passion first in discharging their duties as this will lead them to the hallmark.
In an opening remark by Mr Victor Kadiri, a representative of Nigeria Beach Soccer League, assured the board of support from the national body , this he said will aid fast track the development of Beach soccer in Anambra and Nigeria in general.
In an acceptance speech by the chairman, Prof Victor Madubuko believes that he has the best available hands as board members pointing out that with them he can achieve great things.
He said that the aim of the board is to bring Beach Soccer development in Anambra State especially in schools and female categories, promising not to disappoint.
Nigeria Beach Soccer League through Dr Sunday Okai held an extensive seminar on beach soccer for , players , coaches and referees.
He drilled them on the basics of beach soccer and benefit of playing beach soccer.
