FC. Inter Wins 2022 Enugu State Football League

The 2022 Enugu State Football League has been won by F.C Inter.

In a release issued by the Enugu state Football Association, F.C Inter defeated Flying Angels F.C by a lone goal in the finals of the 2022 State League played early in the week at the Liberty Stadium, Enugu.

Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Marifred Nzekwe, represented by the Director organizing in the Ministry, Mr Bony Onovo was the special guest of honor.

The Chairman Enugu State Football Association, Barr. Tony Ngwu Enugu State F.A, Board members, Football Stakeholders and Sports Journalists graced the finals.

Enugu State Football Association presented medals and trophy to the victorious team, second placed and third placed teams respectively.

Earlier, Golden Shooters defeated Star Plus FC by three goals to one on penalties after one all draw at full time to determine the bronze medalists.

A total of twenty four clubs in Enugu State registered for this year’s State League which lasted for weeks.
