New NSCDC Commandant in Anambra seeks government support.

The Anambra state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Mr Isidore Chukwudi Chikere has solicited the support of the state government for effective job delivery in the state.

The newly posted Commandant made the appeal on Wednesday 13th July, 2022 when he paid a working visit to the State Secretary to Government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu in his office.

According to Mr Chikere, he was at the government House to officially introduce himself as the new commandant and to present his letter of deployment to the state.

While expressing his gratitude for the warm reception accorded him since his arrival in the state, the commandant said he needs the government support to enable him carry out his mandate diligently.

He reaffirmed the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps commitment towards the protection of lives and property of the citizens of the state.

Mr Chikere requested the citizens to feel free to report any suspicious person/ movement to any NSCDC formation or security agency nearest to them to help tackle the security challenges bedeviling some parts of the state and country at large.

Welcoming the Commandant,Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu expressed optimism that with the support of the State Government and the good people of the State his tenure will be a success .

The SSG expressed his appreciation to NSCDC for contributing greatly to the peace and security of the State and tasked the Commandant to work hand in hand with state government, other security agencies as well as stakeholders for the overall interest of the State.

Prof. Chukwulobelu assured the newly posted Commandant of State government’s necessary support to ease the operations of NSCDC in the State.
