Super Falcons forward, Francisca Ordega has fired a warning to their potential opponents in the knock-out stages of the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations going on in Morocco, after they secured second place in Group C.

The Super Falcons defeated Burundi 4-0 on Sunday to go through to the next round, alongside South Africa, who topped the group after a slim 1-0 win over their Southern African Counterpart, Botswana.

Nigeria will now face a familiar foe, Cameroun in the Quarter-finals and Ordega while speaking with Tobexmedia.com is quite confident they will go past them in Casablanca.

“Everybody here understands what is at stake. After what happened in our first game, we knew we had to switch from that moment and remain positive. We had to come back stronger and make a difference in the other games.

“When it comes to Nigeria, every team wants to beat us, but we won’t look down on any team, we know we can be better, and definitely we will get stronger match by match.

“Cameroun are a very strong side and I know they play good football. My teammate, Gabrielle Onguéné, and I were joking about meeting ourselves at the WAFCON, before we left Russia and I told her, we would beat them. They usually give everything whenever they meet us, but we have learnt from our mistakes and won’t let ourselves and our fans down again.” She concluded.
