FCT Chapter Mourns Passage of SWAN President’s Father

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), FCT Chapter, has expressed deep condolences to its national President, Mr Isaiah Kemje Benjamin, over the death of his father, Pa Isaiah Boyi Isreal of Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State.

A statement signed by the SWAN chairman, FCT Chapter, Mr. Ndubueze Chidoka described the death of Pa Isaiah Boyi Isreal as a great loss.

“Our condolences goes out to our President, Isaiah Benjamin at this trying times. Losing a father is not an experience anyone wants to have, though it is inevitable.

“We pray God to console and grant him and members of the larger Isaiah’s family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” it said.

Pa Isaiah died on Monday 25th September 2023 in his country home at the age of 92.

He survived by his wife, seven children, brothers, sisters, grand children and great grand child.
