The Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi, has congratulated the four teams that have qualified for the semi-finals of the ongoing 2026 Chakapain Anambra All Stars Football Competition.
In a congratulatory message on behalf of the board and management of ANSFA, Iloenyosi, popularly known as De General, celebrated Awka Capital Elite, ACE, Evergreen FC of Awka, Estate FC of Fegge and Pro Stars FC of Onitsha for their qualification.
He said the teams have demonstrated hard work, discipline, resilience and sportsmanship to earn a place in the last four, adding that they have shown that football remains a unifying force and that class is permanent even among legends above 40 years.
Chief Iloenyosi noted that the quality of football displayed in the competition so far gives hope for the game in Anambra State.
He commended the sponsor, Chakapain, for investing in veterans football and thanked the Organizing Committee for ensuring a smooth and credible tournament.
He urged the semi-finalists to sustain fair play, brotherhood and the true spirit of the All Stars family as they head into the final stages, and wished them success in the remaining games.
