The Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, today Monday, August 24, 2026, began the Soludo Solution Preseason Tournament a four-day competition aimed at promoting youth talent and strengthening grassroots football in the state.
The tournament, being held under the distinguished patronage of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, is featuring eight clubs divided into two groups.
Group A comprises Solutions FC, Peace FC, Alleluia FC and Olive Charles FC. Group B has Edel FC, Ozalla FC, UC Diamond FC and Bonfa FC.
According to the fixture released by ANSFA, each team will play every other team in its group in a round-robin format. The winner of Group A will face the winner of Group B in the grand finale scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Matches will run daily from Monday to Wednesday with four games per day starting at 9:00 AM.
On Monday, Solutions FC takes on Olive Charles FC in the opening match, followed by Edel FC vs Bonfa FC, Alleluia FC vs Peace FC, and Ozalla FC vs UC Diamond FC.
The tournament is powered by the Anambra State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, and supported by ANSFA Chairman, Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi.
Organizers said the competition is built around four core values: promoting youth talent, enhancing competitiveness, strengthening unity and sportsmanship, and developing grassroots football for a stronger tomorrow.
The Soludo Solution Preseason Tournament is expected to serve as a platform for clubs to test their readiness ahead of the new football season while providing young players an opportunity to showcase their abilities.
