A coalition of Anambra State Youths and Women groups that cut across party lines have thrown their weight behind the senatorial aspiration of Hon Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo.

According to their Chief convener, Dr Chukwuma Agubata, Nwankwo came out tops of all known aspirants currently angling to go to the Red Chamber on behalf of Anambra Central senatorial zone in 2027.

The group under the aegis of “Onye Ndozi Forum” disclosed that after a painstaking assessment of all aspirants who have come out so far, Hon Dozie Nwankwo stood out and was the shining star and most favored.

The chairman and spokesperson of the group Dr Agubata in his brief opening remarks held at the Ifeabata Hall, Ogidi, Idemili North Council of Anambra State pointed out that time has come when the actual electorates get very actively involved in how and who represents them. That such would encourage accountable representation and leadership.

Dr Agubata disclosed that “Hon Dozie Nwankwo has remained outstanding as the only representative in the state with a verifyable landmark achievements.

He pointed out the annual Dozie Nwankwo multimillion Naira medical outreach, scholarship scheme, women/widowhood support scheme, skills acquisition/equipment including seed money for initial take off and stability.

Nwankwo also attracted the Federal College of Agriculture, Enugwu-ukwu campus; which has since taken off and has been graduating students ever since.

He built a state-of-the art fully equipped five hundred units computer laboratory named “Hon Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo ICT Centre” near the Njikoka Council Secretariat at Enugwu-ukwu. Hundreds of students and ICT technicians have graduated from there and established their private labs and workshops where they have become valuable employers of labour.

Throwing more light on the achievements and focus of Nwankwo, popularly called “Onye Ndozi” meaning, the builder, Hon Martin Dike who represented him noted that he’s motivated to go to the Senate to enable him follow up other bills and fulfill other programs he had initiated and submitted but were left midway when he left.

He therefore solicits the full support of the members of the APGA’ members during the forthcoming party primary to enable him record a landslide victory.. and go to the main general election to win landslide also.
