Anambra Governor’s wife, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, marked Mothering Sunday with children at an orphanage in the state on Sunday.
Mrs. Soludo, who runs the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative, said she organised the visit to show compassion and love to orphaned children. The event was filled with laughter, warmth, and moments of connection.
She noted that the children reminded her of what motherhood truly means — caring for the vulnerable and putting smiles on faces that need them most.
“Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give is kindness, and the joy it brings is priceless. This is what makes this celebration truly fulfilling for me. I wish everyone a happy and prosperous week ahead,” she said in a statement
