It was assemblage of Nigeria’s who is who in Awka, Anambra State Tuesday’s afternoon as Gov Chukwuma Soludo got inaugurated for his second term in office.

Led the Vice President Kashim Shettima, former Presidents -Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former Goodluuck Jonathan, and the Obi of Onitsha -HRM Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Ugochukwu Achebe and the Ooni of Ife, HRM, Enitan Ogunwusi.

Others included former Governors Chris Ngige, and Mrs Virgy Etiaba; and Senator Uche Ekwunife, Chief Osita Chidoka.

Also present were Engr Arthur Eze, Chief Emeka Offor, Chief Cletus Ibeto, and Chief Ernest Azudialo Obiejesi, the clergies as well as many professionals.

The Vice President in his remarks highlighted the need for strategic partnership between the states and federal government.

According to the VP, states need to key into the developmental strides of the federal government.

He highlighted some of the projects the government at the center has embarked upon in Anambra State and other Eastern States of Nigeria.

Gov Soludo stated that his dream of making Anambra State the African Dubai Taiwan Silicon Valley remain very much on course. He noted that under his watch, Anambra was back to winning ways.

He thanked the citizens of the State for giving him an overwhelming victory at November 8 Anambra State governorship election.

He therefore assured Ndi-Anambra that he would continue to make democratic dividends available to them.

Soludo stressed on the need to put an end to unnecessary agitation which held the South Eastern part of Nigeria hostage in the past few years.

An All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) chieftain and the party’s Anambra Central Senatorial hopeful, Chief Dozie Nwankwo commended Gov Soludo on his giant development strides that he admitted has put the party and her members atop all political parties in the state.

Chief Dozie Nwankwo called on voters in the state to be discreet in the choice of candidates in the coming 2027 general election.

The Senatorial aspirant want only very active candidates with interest in human development and infrastructure.

He told journalists that he has continue to indelible marks in the lives of citizens of Anambra State.

He therefore urged for the overwhelming support of citizens of Njikoka, Idemili North and Idemili South, as well as Awka North and South. Others include Dunukofia and Anaocha Councils; as well as APGA’ members.

The chairman of Bukham Group Ltd, the developers of the Anambra State International Market, Alh Bukar Hassan sent warm felicitation to Soludo, APGA’ and Anambra State on the cheering occasion.
