The Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke, the newly appointed Registrar of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) yesterday Tuesday, 21 October, 2025 in her office.

The visit was aimed at congratulating Dr. Okeke on her appointment as the 7th substantive Registrar of the university and expressing the association’s desire to work closely with her administration.

Led by the ANUPA UNIZIK Chairman, Mr. Emma Nnaemeka, the team commended the University Governing Council and Management for conducting a fair and transparent process that led to Dr. Okeke’s appointment.

Mr. Nnaemeka expressed the association’s commitment to working with the Registrar to reposition the Registry and enhance the overall performance of the university.

Dr. Okeke, in her response, thanked the ANUPA leadership for the visit and acknowledged the critical role of university administrators in the effective functioning of the institution.

She emphasized the importance of professionalism and dedication to duty, urging members to take pride in their work.

The Registrar also outlined her “GREEN” policy, which prioritizes the training and re-training of staff to enable them to contribute to the university’s overall vision.

This initiative aims to enhance the capacity of university staff and promote excellence in administration
