El-Kanemi Warriors FC duo Abbas Usman and Daddy Abdulrahman have been named in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Team of the Week following their outstanding performances in Matchday 7 against Kano Pillars FC.

Abbas Usman, the experienced left full-back, was solid throughout the 90 minutes in their MatchDay7 encounter against Kano Pillars showcasing composure, discipline, and leadership at the back.

The Kano-born former Nigeria U-20 international stood tall against veteran forward Ahmad Musa, keeping the Pillars captain quiet for most of the encounter. His defensive brilliance and calm play were crucial to El-Kanemi’s success.

Substitute sensation Daddy Abdulrahman changed the game after coming on in the 38th minute for Mas’ud Danjuma. The Kano-born midfield maestro quickly adapted to Coach Kabiru Dogo’s tactical setup, displaying creativity, strength, and intelligence in the middle of the park.

Daddy scored a spectacular goal in the 60th minute to give the Warriors the lead, before sealing the victory with another stunning strike in the 80th minute. His commanding display in midfield stood out even against seasoned players like Rabiu Ali and Aminu Obi of Kano Pillars.

On behalf of the teeming fans of El-Kanemi Warriors FC worldwide, we extend our congratulations to the duo. Their recognition is a big plus for the Mighty Warriors and a clear indication the is team’s growing strength and determination under Coach Kabiru Dogo.
