The National Pedagogical University of Kinshasa played host to an exciting event, the CAF Festival – KinFoot 2025, which went beyond a typical festival to offer a comprehensive football school experience.
The event brought together students passionate about football, providing them with a platform to learn and grow. Over the course of the festival, participants engaged in various workshops designed to equip them with essential skills in football.

Workshops That Covered It All
One of the key highlights of the festival was the range of workshops offered to participants. The safeguarding workshop focused on informing and protecting the next generation of footballers, emphasizing the importance of safety and well-being in sports.

The refereeing workshop covered the 17 laws of the game, providing participants with a deep understanding of the rules and decision-making processes that officials follow. This hands-on approach to learning helped students develop a stronger grasp of the game.

Embracing Innovation and Coaching
In addition to the on-field aspects of football, the festival also explored the role of technology in the sport. The sports technology workshop introduced participants to the latest innovations in football, showcasing how technology is transforming the way the game is played and analyzed.

Meanwhile, the coaching workshop provided insights into the basics of training and team management, giving students a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to lead a team to success.
